Professional Integration Advisor, 80-100% in Fribourg (m/f/d)
The Migration & Integration Department of French-speaking Switzerland - a branch of Caritas Switzerland in Fribourg - is responsible for the support and integration of recognized refugees in the canton of Fribourg on behalf of the state. The Integration Service, a multidisciplinary service composed of more than 30 people, aims to promote the sustainable professional and social integration of refugees. The professionals support beneficiaries individually and in groups to assess their needs and skills, develop personalized measures, and coordinate work with other services and external partners. In this context, we are looking for a professional integration advisor whose main tasks will be to assess the needs and skills of the refugees followed, support and accompany them in their professional integration process.
Your tasks
- Assess the needs and skills of refugees and support them in the professional integration process
- Implement integration measures, internships, and other activities
- Create, monitor, and lead training/courses for refugees
- Ensure follow-up and updates in the management system
- Carry out administration and information related to the various follow-ups
- Collaborate with the Department's internal services
- Collaborate with the network of external partners, social integration measure managers (MIS), and relevant state services
- Know the offers of the cantonal system and collaborate with the respective managers (employment programs, integration courses, language courses, etc.)
- Participate in the development and implementation of new internal or external projects
Our requirements
- Tertiary education in human sciences or other training deemed relevant for the position
- Professional experience in socio-professional integration and/or adult education, project management experience is an asset
- Adult trainer certification is an asset (e.g., FSEA Certificate)
- Professional experience supporting migrants is an asset
- Good knowledge of the economic and associative fabric of the canton of Fribourg
- Organizational and administrative skills, ability to synthesize, and good stress resistance
- Initiative, strong sense of responsibility, and professional ethics
- Ability to work independently and also in a team, in a multicultural environment
- High proficiency with modern IT tools (data management, Microsoft Office, etc.); knowledge of the Tutoris management software or equivalent is an asset
- Native French or German speaker with excellent knowledge of the other language; mastery of another language is an asset
The workplace is Fribourg (with possible travel to Matran)
