The National Roads Department Area VI of the Civil Engineering Office of the Canton of St.Gallen makes a significant contribution to the safety of the national roads in the cantons of Glarus, Thurgau, and St.Gallen with its maintenance work.

To strengthen our team, we are looking for an

Employee for Road Maintenance Service (m/f/d)

for the Oberbüren depot, starting immediately or by arrangement

Workload: 100%

Workplace: Oberbüren

What to expect

• Green and shrub maintenance, forestry work
• Road and civil engineering work
• Cleaning work
• Operating vehicles and equipment
• Deployments in winter service and in case of accidents
• Signaling work for construction sites

What distinguishes you

• Completed vocational training, preferably in the main construction trade, forestry, or as a landscape gardener
• Team-oriented, independent, and reliable personality
• Willingness for on-call duty and night work
• Enjoyment of work in road maintenance and winter service
• Driver's license category B/BE and C or willingness to obtain missing categories
• Accessibility of the depot within 20 minutes
