The Musikkollegium Winterthur has been one of the most important institutions for classical music and musical education since 1629 – with an impact far beyond Switzerland. As an association, it operates both the professional orchestra and the Winterthur Conservatory, bringing together around 200 employees and musicians under one roof.

As part of a restructuring of the Finance & Human Resources department, we are looking for a

Finance and Accounting Specialist (50-70%)

YOUR CHALLENGE

In this role, you will independently and closely collaborate with your colleagues from the Finance & Human Resources team to manage all financial processes – from accounts payable and receivable to the general ledger and year-end closing tasks. You will gradually take on co-responsibility for payroll accounting and contribute your expertise to HR tasks as well. Furthermore, you will actively participate in the further development of controlling structures.

YOUR PROFILE

You have a commercial education with further training in finance and accounting with a federal diploma and bring experience in preparing annual financial statements – ideally complemented by knowledge in the non-profit and/or cultural sector. A structured, precise, and independent working style, even in demanding situations, characterises you as much as high reliability. You enjoy working with numbers, appreciate contact with people, and are proficient in MS Office, especially Excel.
