Job Description
We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Product Owner for administrative information systems to join our team in Echandens, Switzerland. In this key role, you will be responsible for the development and improvement of our administrative information systems, ensuring they meet the evolving needs of our organization.
Main Responsibilities
- Development of administrative information systems (ERP, personnel planning, HCM, etc.) in close collaboration with users.
- Responsible for planning and executing releases and managing tests.
- Gathering and managing business requirements.
- Methodical analysis, concept development, and specification.
- Support and monitoring of administrative IT projects of clinics in all their phases.
- Ensure communication between administrative/clinical sectors and IT.
- Liaison between clinics (1st/2nd Level Support) and outsourcing partner support organizations.
- Lead the vision and strategy of the product for administrative information systems, aligning with organizational goals and user needs.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements, translating them into clear and actionable items for the development team.
- Facilitate sprint planning, review, and retrospective meetings, ensuring proper execution of the Agile development process.
- Ensure communication between administrative/clinical sectors and IT.
- Regularly organize demonstrations and presentations to showcase new features and gather feedback from users and stakeholders.
- Analyze system performance and user feedback to identify areas for improvement and optimization.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, designers, and quality assurance managers, to ensure the delivery of high-quality products.
- Keep up with industry trends and best practices in administrative information systems to drive innovation and continuous improvement.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's / Master's degree in information systems and business management
- More than 5 years of experience in product ownership or a similar role, preferably in administrative information systems.
- Knowledge of information system architecture and integration concepts.
- Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) or similar certification desired
- Good knowledge of ERP systems (ideally Opale), Therefore, Polypoint PEP
- Good knowledge of IT development processes, especially Agile methodologies, project management, and quality management.
- Good knowledge of Microsoft office tools (Teams, Excel, Outlook, etc.)
- Proven experience in product delivery and stakeholder management.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex requirements into clear user stories.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with clinical and administrative domain experts.
- High degree of independence, strong analytical skills, and good presentation abilities
- Bilingual in German and French with good knowledge of English; knowledge of Italian is a plus.
