We’re hiring a hands-on, execution-driven Chief of Staff to partner directly with the CEO and executive team to scale operations, improve decision velocity, and ensure organizational alignment across Alohi’s multi-product portfolio.
This role will blend strategic thinking with tactical execution, often rolling up sleeves to build processes, automate workflows, prepare analyses, or directly manage cross-functional initiatives.
You’ll oversee and support multiple business functions - including Operations, Compliance, HR, Talent Acquisition, and Finance - while acting as the company’s first responder for urgent cross-functional challenges and the connective tissue across teams and leadership.
Responsibilities
- Oversee and actively drive company OKRs, KPI tracking, and cross-functional goal alignment, ensuring visibility into performance and accountability across all teams.
- Design, implement, and personally execute scalable processes across people, finance, legal, and business operations, leveraging automation and product-led tooling.
- Work hands-on to identify, diagnose, and resolve cross-functional bottlenecks, coordinating directly with teams to maintain operational flow and efficiency.
- Own and execute key operational rhythms - including resource planning, quarterly reviews, and executive reporting.
- Support compliance and vendor management, handling contracts, counsel engagement, and basic legal intake where needed.
- Lead and participate in continuous improvement projects, building dashboards, templates, and tools to reduce manual work and surface key business metrics.
- Partner closely with commercial and product teams to drive data-led GTM operations, CRM optimization, and process automation.
- Act as a strategic advisor and execution partner to the CEO, anticipating challenges, connecting insights across functions, and ensuring smooth day-to-day operations.
- Balance strategic oversight with hands-on execution, ensuring progress through both leadership and direct contribution.
- Proven experience in a SaaS or technology-driven organization, with direct, hands-on involvement in scaling operations during growth phases.
- Previous experience as a Chief of Staff, Head of Operations, or senior business operator managing cross-functional programs across HR, Finance, and GTM.
- Highly hands-on operator who is equally comfortable drafting reports, building dashboards, writing SOPs, or setting up tools as they are leading exec meetings.
- Practical understanding of key operational domains, such as accounting, payroll, HR systems, compliance, and fundraising.
- Strong commercial and analytical mindset, with exposure to GTM, sales, marketing, and customer operations - capable of linking business priorities to execution.
- Deeply tech-savvy: experienced with SaaS, AI, and automation tools (e.g., Notion, HubSpot, Slack automations, Zapier, etc.), and passionate about using technology to scale operations.
- Comfortable experimenting and implementing AI-enabled workflows to optimize decision-making and productivity.
- Analytical and data-driven, comfortable building and using metrics, dashboards, and BI tools to inform and communicate decisions.
- Excellent communicator and collaborator, able to influence across levels and drive clarity in fast-moving environments.
- Demonstrated success managing and developing small, high-performing teams while still staying close to the details.
- Background in scale-ups or founder-led environments preferred - ideal for candidates who enjoy both strategic influence and day-to-day execution.
- Fluent in English, with working proficiency in French.
