Office for Migration and Civil Law | 80-100 % | Chur
The Office for Migration and Civil Law currently employs around 230 staff at over 20 locations in the canton of Graubünden and is responsible for the enforcement of foreigner and asylum legislation at the cantonal level. The main office of our department is located in Chur.
To strengthen our team in the Finance and Controlling area, we are looking for a committed, versatile, and responsible person as of June 1, 2026, or by agreement, who will take care of the various financial matters of our office. In this role, you will take on different tasks in the operational daily business in the finance area of our department and support the head of Finance and Controlling in the diverse tasks.
- Posting and reconciling bank accounts
- Conducting cash audits
- Posting accounts receivable payments including dunning
- Checking accounts payable and initiating accounts payable payments
- Working in various accounting systems
- Supporting the preparation of quarterly, semi-annual, and annual financial statements
- Taking on additional tasks in the area of finance and controlling as assigned
- Collaboration with all departments of the office as well as other departments of the cantonal administration
- Completed commercial basic education (EFZ) or equivalent training
- Further education in finance or accounting is an advantage
- Professional experience in a similar role
- Quick comprehension and networked thinking
- Structured, proactive, and reliable working style
- High accuracy, discretion, and sense of responsibility
- Good application knowledge in MS Office and willingness to work with various specialized applications (e.g., Tutoris, Abacus)
- Confident German language skills in spoken and written form; knowledge of other official languages is an advantage
