Be part of our team
During your apprenticeship as a "Retail Manager CFC / AFP Shopping Experience Design" in a pet store, you will work in one of the 80 QUALIPET branches in Switzerland
From the beginning, you are integrated into our daily activities, you learn to know our entire assortment and you competently advise our customers. In addition, you learn to properly handle the various local and exotic animal species. During your apprenticeship, you will go through all departments of a branch, such as dogs, cats, rodents, birds, aquaristics, and terraristics. Your trainer will accompany you throughout your daily work, advise you, and also prepare you for more demanding situations in retail.

- You like presenting merchandise to customers and ensuring cleanliness in the store.
- You have completed your schooling and are ready to learn new things during your training and at vocational school.
Retail Manager CFC - compulsory schooling completed at level A or B
Retail Assistant AFP - compulsory schooling completed
- We pay the learning material costs for vocational school
- We cover CHF 150.- per apprenticeship year for a public transport subscription
- We pay you CHF 500.- for a laptop or tablet
- We provide you with professional clothing (top)
- We retain 90% of our apprentices after the apprenticeship period
- One-time bonus for the qualification procedure if you pass the qualification procedure

Your salary during training:
Retail Manager (CFC):
1st year of apprenticeship RM: CHF 850.00
2nd year of apprenticeship RM: CHF 1,000.00
3rd year of apprenticeship RM: CHF 1,500.00
Retail Assistant (AFP):
1st year of apprenticeship RA: CHF 750.00
2nd year of apprenticeship RA: CHF 950.00
In case of additional training:
3rd year of apprenticeship RM: CHF 1,200.00
4th year of apprenticeship RM: CHF 1,500.00
Of course, as an apprentice, you also benefit from a 13th month salary.
Good school results are rewarded!
If you have the following average grades, you can benefit from a performance bonus per semester:
4.5 - 4.9 / CHF 200.00
5.0 - 5.3 / CHF 400.00
5.4 - 5.6 / CHF 600.00
5.7 - 6.0 / CHF 1,000.00
