Located in the Vevey region, between city and
countryside, the Genévrier City welcomes adults with
disabilities due to an intellectual deficiency. A multidisciplinary
and multi-site structure, it offers the residents a particularly harmonious living and
working environment as well as a set of skills
adapted to the needs and aspirations of each individual.
Integrated into the Eben-Hézer Foundation, the Genévrier City is the custodian of the moral testament of its founder, Sister Julie Hofmann. In this capacity, she considers the happiness of the residents as the ultimate goal of her actions.
Mission
The "Le Laurier" group is a living space welcoming adults with an intellectual deficiency who require individualized support promoting well-being, particularly through care and activities around the 5 senses. In this context, educators actively participate in outings, sports and cultural activities, various leisure activities, and camps. To complete the educational team, we are looking for a social educator (M/F).
Desired Profile
Hold a diploma as a social educator ES or HES, or a CFC
as a social educator assistant
Have experience in the field of multiple disabilities, an asset
Be comfortable with care and non-verbal communication
Be able to take initiatives
Have team spirit and a sense of ethics
Be patient, dynamic, and creative
You master common IT tools, hold a driver's license, and are willing to work irregular hours including weekends.
