Our ClientOur client is an established, independent Swiss producer in the beer sector, producing not only well-known brands but also many private labels and own-brand products. The company is characterised by a down-to-earth environment, short decision-making paths, high personal responsibility, and plenty of scope for creativity. Workplace: Lucerne region.
Your Area of Responsibility
- Leadership, coordination, and professional development of 8-10 employees in the brewery area
- Overall responsibility for the proper and efficient execution of the entire brewing process
- Planning, control, and monitoring of production processes from raw material intake to finished beer
- Ensuring consistently high product quality and compliance with defined quality, hygiene, and safety standards
- Responsibility for recipe management and its continuous optimisation
- Monitoring and optimisation of brewhouse, fermentation, storage, filtration, and filling
- Analysis and further development of existing production processes with a focus on quality, efficiency, and resource conservation
- Planning and coordination of maintenance, cleaning, and repair work in cooperation with the technical service
- Participation in the development of new beers, recipes, and product concepts
- Documentation and evaluation of relevant production and quality indicators
- Close cooperation with production, technical department, quality assurance, and management
Your Profile
- Completed training in brewing with further education as a brewmaster and several years of professional experience in the brewing or beverage industry
- Experience in leading and developing employees as well as strong communication and team skills
- Experience in recipe development, product optimisation, and quality assurance with a high sense of quality and responsibility
- Independent, structured, and solution-oriented personality with entrepreneurial thinking, high self-motivation, and very good German language skills;
- Very good MS Office and ideally SAP knowledge
- Fluent German language skills are mandatory
