Tafers is the German-speaking main town of the Sense district in the bilingual canton of Fribourg. The General Internal Medicine at the Tafers location consists of a ward where 54 inpatients with internal diseases of all kinds are cared for and an interdisciplinary on-call service (08:00 to 18:00). In addition, a day clinic is attached to General Internal Medicine, where patients are treated on an outpatient basis.
To strengthen our team, we are therefore looking for a
Assistant Physician
(100%, part-time or job sharing possible)
Your tasks
- You will take over the treatment of patients with internal diseases on the ward under regular supervision; alternating with a rotation on the interdisciplinary on-call service.
- You will supervise medical students.

- SIWF certified, structured training in General Internal Medicine (C, 1 year; on-call category II).

Your profile
- Motivation, enjoyment of working as a physician
- Federal medical diploma or foreign medical diploma with MEDREG equivalence
- German or French speaking with at least B2 knowledge in the other language (everyday communication skills)
- Beginners/re-entrants or assistants in a foreign year are warmly welcome and will be individually supported
Start of employment: regular positions: from January 2028. Spontaneous applications for occasionally vacant positions with earlier start are possible
