Starting immediately or by arrangement, we are looking for a committed
Foreign Trade Specialist (m/f/d) 60-80%
Tasks:
- Handling and coordination of import and export orders including return shipments
- Preparation of all required export/import documents according to international guidelines and invoicing of shipments
- Organization and monitoring of transports including deadline tracking
- Checking and ensuring compliance with export control and customs regulations
- Classification and obtaining permits for armaments goods considering geopolitical developments
- Coordination with responsible authorities and checking the approval requirement including sanctions list checks
- Master data maintenance (export and import), documentation and filing/archiving
- Support of the internal sales department
- Further tasks in coordination with the supervisor
Requirements:
- Completed commercial basic training, with further education in foreign trade (e.g., foreign trade specialist with a federal diploma)
- Several years of professional experience in the international trade environment
- Sound knowledge of customs, import, and export matters (Switzerland / international)
- Proven knowledge in classification, obtaining permits, and shipping of armaments goods
- Interest in monitoring geopolitical developments and assessing their impact on business
- Confident German as well as good English skills in spoken and written form
- Proficient use of MS Office and ERP systems (INFOR)
- Precise, responsible, and independent working style
- High service orientation, organizational talent, and teamwork skills
- Aviation knowledge is an advantage
