Field of Activity
During your apprenticeship, you will work at one of the seven districts of the Grisons Technical Office.
As an automotive maintenance mechanic, you are responsible for the maintenance and repair work on various vehicles, such as light vehicles and vans, trucks, and snowplows with rotary blades. You independently carry out general vehicle maintenance and repair tasks. You know how to screw, weld, braze, saw, mill, and lubricate. You handle oil changes, replace worn tires, maintain the lighting system, air conditioning system, and cooling, ignition, and injection systems. You can read and interpret technical and electrical documents and diagrams. You perform simple repair tasks in the vehicle electronics sector.
