gaw is a non-profit organization and has stood since 1987 for professional and sustainable work and housing integration for people with mainly psychological impairments in the Basel region. A diverse team of around 100 professionals contributes in the areas of retail/production, gastronomy, housekeeping, packaging and shipping, commercial professions as well as housing with around 230 supported work and training places and 35 partially supervised housing places.
We are looking for a Team Leader: HR and Payroll Administration 80-100% to start immediately or by arrangement.
Your tasks - versatile & meaningful
- Operational management of the four-person HR team
- Responsibility and operational involvement in daily business around the HR lifecycle
- Supervision and participation in the monthly payroll run with Abacus
- Consulting managers and employees on personnel-related issues
- Optimization of personnel processes as well as adjustments of regulations and guidelines
- Management of HR lifecycle projects
Your profile - professionally competent & personally committed
- Commercial vocational training as well as further education in human resources (HR specialist) and social insurance (Switzerland)
- Several years of experience in personnel administration and payroll
- Experience in team leadership and development
- Good knowledge of Swiss social insurance and labor law
- Very good Abacus skills and confident handling of MS Office
- Structured and independent working style
- Enjoyment in developing structures and processes
- Knowledge of GAV Gastro and cleaning is an advantage
