Mechatronics technicians assemble systems and machines from mechanical and electronic parts, put them into operation, and operate them. Of course, they also ensure the maintenance and servicing of the systems. They manually and mechanically process materials and assemble mechanical, electromechanical, electrical, and electronic components as well as pneumatic and hydraulic controls for systems into mechatronic systems. They assemble the manufactured components and system parts, put the systems into operation, and operate them. This also includes measuring and testing the systems and components. If necessary, they also program production systems. In addition, they maintain these systems and system parts.
