As a team member of the operations guard, you are responsible for the surveillance of the power plant area and the facility.
Tasks and Responsibilities
- Control and monitoring of buildings, the power plant area and the apron (patrol service), security police interventions if necessary
- Control of persons, luggage and material
- Operation of technical security devices and checking their functionality
- Verification, evaluation and processing of messages and alarms
- Working in shifts
Profile and Skills
- Completed vocational training
- Completed training as a security guard with a federal certificate of competence or equivalent training is an advantage
- Willingness for uniformed and armed security service
- Suitability for the function as an operations guard, in particular personal maturity, pronounced perception ability, shift work suitability as well as physical and mental fitness
- German as mother tongue
You perform the diverse protection and security tasks both on the power plant site and in the security-relevant forecourt of the Beznau nuclear power plant and ZWILAG.
The operations guard itself takes on monitoring tasks for years beyond the operating period.
About the Team
The operations guard of the Beznau nuclear power plant is responsible for the seamless surveillance of the access points to the security area. It operates technical security devices and checks their functionality. The operations guard works in a 24-hour shift operation.
Within the scope of the task area, we promote continuous learning on the job.
