Head of Department Global Sales & Marketing Controlling m/f/d

This is you:

• You take overall responsibility for global Sales & Marketing Controlling as well as the leadership and further development of the team
• You manage the group-wide Financial Performance Management for sales and marketing units and further develop it
• You ensure the planning, forecasting, and reporting processes and continuously develop them (including strategic planning, rolling forecasts, and management reporting)
• You analyze financial performance and derive measures to ensure growth, profitability, and capital efficiency
• You act as a sparring partner for top management and work closely with international sales and marketing managers
• The further development of controlling instruments, KPIs, and systems for global management of profit centers is also part of your tasks
• You compile well-founded decision-making bases (e.g., business cases, investment calculations) and promote a uniform controlling understanding through consulting and training of the global organization (e.g., business cases, investment calculations, especially in the product development process)

This is what you bring:

• Completed studies in business administration or comparable qualification; ideally supplemented by further training (e.g., MBA, CFA, or similar)
• Many years of professional experience in a leading finance function with global responsibility or as finance lead / CFO of a smaller unit, preferably in an international sales and marketing environment
• Proven success in managing performance, profitability, and growth in complex, international organizations
• Deep understanding of P&L structures, financial processes, and modern control logics in sales (e.g., KPI systems, forecasting, business partnering)
• Leadership personality with the ability to build, develop, and lead high-performance teams internationally
• High analytical and strategic competence combined with pronounced implementation strength and pragmatism
• International experience (e.g., extended foreign assignments or work in global structures)
• Strong communication skills, convincing and assertive with a clear, partnership-based leadership style
• Fluent German and English skills, additional languages are an advantage
