Head of R&D / Member of Executive Management m/f/d, 80-100%
Your tasks
As a strong and visionary leader, you will lead the Research & Development department and be responsible for the strategic and operational development of our innovative machine and plant solutions.
You are a member of the executive management and report directly to the COO.
Your main tasks:
Overall responsibility for leading the R&D team, consisting of mechanical, software, and electronics development
Development and implementation of the R&D strategy in line with corporate goals
Initiation and management of development projects - from the idea through feasibility analysis to
market launch
Promotion of innovations and continuous improvement of our products and processes
Responsibility for budgets, resource planning, and timely project realization
Representation of the company to customers, partners, and at trade fairs
Close cooperation with sales, supply chain, and service
Your profile
Completed studies as a mechanical engineer FH or comparable education (e.g.,
construction technician HF), preferably with interdisciplinary experience
Several years of experience in the development and design of mechatronic devices, preferably in
special machine construction and medical technology
Leadership experience in a management position with interdisciplinary teams (mechanics, electronics, software)
Solid knowledge in concept development, design and calculation, FEM simulation as well as 3D CAD design (preferably SolidWorks),
Entrepreneurial thinking, strategic competence, and assertiveness
Very good English skills and willingness to travel (up to approx. 10%)
