The Department of Economic Affairs of the Canton of Zurich (www.vd.zh.ch) oversees the Office for Labor, the Office for Economy, the Office for Mobility, as well as administratively the Zurich Transport Network (ZVV).
In the interest of employees and companies, the Office for Economy (AWI) contributes to strengthening the Zurich location. With its approximately 100 employees, AWI bundles economic competencies and houses the areas of location promotion, work permits, working conditions and economics as well as the staff.
The Housing Promotion Unit in AWI promotes affordable rental housing construction with interest-free loans. The unit implements housing promotion law and acts as a hub between developers, municipalities, and the Federal Office for Housing.
To strengthen the existing team, we count on your support from January 1, 2026, or by agreement. The workload can be arranged flexibly.
Your tasks:
- Processing accounting and management tasks of housing promotion. Within the framework of loan management of the credit line, you take care of disbursements and repayments as well as amortizations and keep an eye on the subsidy balances of the individual properties
- Handling accounts receivable and payable management, compiling housing promotion data for the office's annual financial statement, and performing controlling by reconciling values in various systems
- Processing deletion or mutation orders for land registry offices, handling rent objections, and supporting as needed in subsidizing residential buildings and preparing rent decisions
- As part of your deputy duties, you also carry out purpose maintenance checks, impose sanctions for misuse, make mutations, and issue exceptions and special permits
- Ensuring time tracking, archiving deleted properties and handing them over to the state archive, as well as managing document templates and address administration complete your profile
Your profile:
- As a future team member, you have completed an apprenticeship in the commercial field with further training in accounting and/or bookkeeping
- You enjoy working with numbers and like to work precisely
- You also have solid MS Office skills and confident German language skills
- A friendly, helpful manner with internal and external contacts is as much part of your qualities as a careful, well-organized way of working
