The District Court Horgen is a first-instance civil and criminal court with around 60 employees. Approximately 4,000 cases are processed annually.
An auditor position at a district court allows persons with a completed law degree to enter Zurich's civil and criminal justice system. The auditor position is credited as a net year in terms of the admission requirements for the bar exam.

Your area of responsibility
As an auditor, you will gain insight into all areas of activity of a Zurich district court through our pool system and work with all our 11 judges as well as 15 court clerks.
You participate in hearings, prepare the corresponding minutes, contribute to the reasoning of decisions, and provide legal advice. You will gain in-depth insight into procedural law, civil law (e.g., family law, claims including labor and tenancy disputes), criminal law, as well as debt enforcement and bankruptcy law.
