The Swiss Salinen AG produces and processes high-quality Swiss salt for various applications – in the three saltworks Riburg, Schweizerhalle, and Bex. As part of our Strategy "Salt 2025+ and to ensure the long-term security of raw material reserves for a sustainable and secure salt supply, we are looking for an experienced engineer as project manager for our exploration and extraction team as Overall Project Manager Salt Supply (100%) - Member of the Management Team.

Your Role: You will take over the overall project management from planning, execution, control to realization of large projects to ensure reliable and economical brine supply for salt extraction. Together with your project teams, you will ensure that Switzerland can continue to be supplied with the white gold from Switzerland for Switzerland in the coming decades. 

Your Tasks

• Overall responsibility for the successful planning and implementation of complex realization projects (CHF 10–50 million) in the areas of salt field creation and development.
• Management of several parallel projects (deep drilling, transport lines, infrastructure, etc.) while adhering to deadlines, cost, and quality targets.
• Leadership and coordination of all project processes considering technical, economic, ecological, and legal framework conditions.
• Establishment and maintenance of an effective project culture – focusing on transparency, willingness to change (change management), and solution and implementation orientation.
• Ensuring a tiered reporting system and transparent communication with internal and external stakeholders (board of directors, management, department heads) as well as representatives of cantons, municipalities, and landowners. 
• Proactive identification of opportunities and risks (risk management) within the project portfolio of salt field creation and development and their handling in strategic and operational terms. 
• Participation in the further development of the long-term raw material strategy of Swiss Salinen AG with regard to a solidarity-based salt supply for Switzerland.
• Technical leadership of interdisciplinary project teams consisting of internal and external specialists as well as their promotion and development.

Your Profile

• University / college degree (Master) in engineering or natural sciences as well as a recognized project management certification (e.g., PMI, IPMA).
• Many years of leadership experience as an engineer and project manager of large projects (> CHF 100 million), ideally complemented by practical experience in pipeline construction, civil engineering, drilling technology, or mining.
• Proficient in modern project management methods and tools as well as experience with BIM and simulation modeling.
• In-depth knowledge of relevant standards, laws, and guidelines in the industrial project environment.
• Strong leadership skills, decisiveness, and the ability to analytically grasp and communicate complex relationships.

• Native German or French speaker with very good knowledge of the other language, English skills are an advantage.
