The Opportunity
What You Can Achieve
- Carrying out installations, commissioning, maintenance, and repairs on HITACHI ENERGY products and systems, especially in the areas of high voltage, power transmission, and distribution.
- Troubleshooting and resolving faults in complex electrical systems and installations.
- Preparing service reports and documentation after each assignment.
- Advising customers on technical questions and optimization possibilities.
- Training customer personnel in handling the systems.
- Compliance with safety regulations and quality standards.
- Willingness to travel within Switzerland and occasionally abroad.
- Participation in on-call duty (standby) outside regular working hours.
- Continuous further training and updating of expertise on new products and technologies.
Your Background
- Completed technical training (e.g., electrician, electronics technician, automation technician) or studies (e.g., electrical engineering, energy technology).
- Several years of professional experience in service or maintenance of electrical systems, ideally in the energy sector.
- Solid knowledge in high voltage technology, switchgear, and control systems is an advantage.
- Confident handling of measuring and testing devices.
- Good German skills in spoken and written form (Swiss German is an advantage), as well as good English skills. French skills are a plus.
- Strong problem-solving skills and analytical thinking ability.
- High level of initiative, responsibility, and customer orientation.
- Valid driving license category B.
- Willingness to work flexible hours and travel.
