Its aim is to reduce the negative consequences of addictive substance use for the individuals concerned as well as for society. CONTACT is oriented according to the model of the four pillars of Swiss addiction policy (prevention, therapy, risk reduction, repression).
For CONTACT Reception Center in Biel, we are looking for a
Care Team Collaborator, 60%
CONTACT Reception Center in Biel provides support to individuals who consume addictive substances and whose health and social integration are severely threatened.
Here are the tasks that await you:
- Welcome and distribute consumption materials to individuals visiting the facility
- Monitor consumption rooms
- Conduct interviews upon request and carry out necessary medical-social referrals
- Provide information, prevention messages regarding transmissible diseases and the use of psychotropics
- Administer first aid
- Perform cardiopulmonary resuscitation and call for emergency services
- Replacement in the CONTACT Reception Center and Addiction Treatment in Tavannes
- Collaboration within the interdisciplinary team
Your profile:
- Diploma in nursing or equivalent training
- Motivation to work in a risk reduction context and interest in issues such as drugs, precariousness, social exclusion, and prostitution
- Ease of contact, sense of teamwork
- Native German or French speaker, with good knowledge of the other language (B2-C1)
- Desired experience
