This is the job - Your main tasks

• Design and further development of integration architectures in industrial system landscapes (ERP, MES, shopfloor, cloud).

• Definition of integration strategies and technological roadmaps for hybrid IT/OT environments.

• Conceptualization of modern integration patterns such as event-driven architecture, API management, and service-oriented architectures in an industrial context.

• End-to-end solution design for business and production processes with a focus on data flows between ERP, manufacturing execution systems, and cloud platforms.

• Architectural control of transformation projects, e.g., in the context of S/4HANA implementations or MES modernizations.

• Definition of governance and security principles for interfaces in security-critical production environments.

• Evaluation and validation of middleware and integration platforms, including technical proof-of-concepts.

This job is for you if

• you understand integration architecture as a strategic lever for end-to-end processes in industry.

• you can structure complex IT/OT landscapes and transform them into viable target architectures.

• event-driven, API-first, and data-driven approaches are your lived practice.

• you bring experience in integrating ERP, MES, or production systems.

• you can document architectural decisions comprehensibly and represent them to both technical and business stakeholders.

• you feel comfortable in a consulting environment and take responsibility in customer projects.

• you communicate professionally in German (at least C1) and English.

​As a cherry on top, you bring

• experience in integrating SAP (e.g., S/4HANA), MES systems, or shopfloor applications.

• know-how in handling event streaming technologies (e.g., Kafka) in production-related scenarios.

• knowledge of industrial communication standards (e.g., OPC UA) or OT-related integration patterns.

• experience with cloud integration services (Azure, AWS, or GCP) in the manufacturing environment.

• expertise in security and identity concepts for hybrid IT/OT architectures.

• architecture or cloud certifications (e.g., iSAQB, Azure/AWS Solutions Architect).
