About the job

Every year, many young people take the leap into professional life with us as cooks, kitchen assistants EBA, health professionals (FaGe), health and social assistants (AGS), hospitality and housekeeping professionals EFZ and EBA, as well as commercial employees. Or they complete a Nursing Specialist HF study program.

The Dielsdorf Health Center is a specialized nursing institution with around 430 employees in the Zurich lowlands and ensures care at nursing places for the 22 political municipalities of the Dielsdorf district with about 90,000 inhabitants. With over 200 beds, the inpatient offering of general long-term care is complemented by specialized treatment pathways for rehabilitative acute and transitional care, palliative care, psychiatric geriatrics, and the focus on dementia.

Spitex Regional forms an important part of the care offering. It provides outpatient services for the five contract municipalities. In the future, it is planned to establish a night Spitex.

• Care, support, and advice for our clients at home

• Ensuring the nursing process

• Case management and conducting needs assessments in tandem with a certified nursing specialist

• Creation, adjustment, and evaluation of nursing documentation

• Conducting counseling sessions

• Accurate recording of service data

• Collaboration with relatives, doctors, hospitals, nursing homes, and other specialist agencies

• Integrated 6-month external internship in inpatient acute and transitional care

• Duration of training: 3 years (shortened HF study of 2 years possible with completed apprenticeship as health professional EFZ)

• Own Learning Transfer Training (LTT), including regular exchange with HF students from partner companies

• Completed apprenticeship as health professional EFZ, Matura or equivalent

• Good German skills in spoken and written form (at least level C1)

• Empathy and high social competence in dealing with clients and their relatives

• Practical understanding, a strong sense of responsibility, and an independent working style

• Active and situation-appropriate relationship and communication skills

• Resilient, sociable, and humorous personality with good observation skills

• Enjoyment in working for and with people

• Willingness to further develop professional knowledge and make an important contribution to the success of our health center

• Attended information event on Nursing HF study at a higher technical school ZAG or Careum and/or registered
