Purpose
As a Supply Specialist, you ensure the successful integration of new products into our supply chain. You manage the first procurement of new parts, set up supply chain concepts, and coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to secure on-time and cost-efficient deliveries.
Role
In this role, you will:
- Manage the initial procurement of new parts for NPI (New Product Introduction)
- Evaluate and implement supply chain concepts for new products
- Act as the interface between internal teams and external suppliers
- Set up and maintain logistics master data in our ERP system (MS Dynamics 365)
- Review NPI purchase orders and confirm delivery dates
- Manage NPI approval workflows in D365
- Identify and mitigate risks in the NPI supply chain process
Requirements
- Higher education with focus on Procurement, Supply Chain, or Project Management (or equivalent)
- Several years of experience in a comparable role (especially project procurement / supply chain)
- Strong MS Office skills, especially Excel
- Experience with ERP systems (ERP required, D365 a plus)
- Very good German and good English, spoken and written
- Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations
- Familiarity with supply chain concepts (e.g. COGS calculation, multi-sourcing strategies)
- Project management experience (methods, tools)
- Background in a high-tech/industrial environment (e.g. machinery, semiconductors, life sciences)
- Analytical, strategic, and process-oriented mindset
