Production Manager Vulcanizing (m/f/d)
For our VULCH department, we are looking for a dedicated Production Manager (m/f/d).
Your tasks
- Overall responsibility for the Vulcanizing production area with seven team leaders.
- Leadership, development, and coaching of the team leaders - working at a strategic level.
- Professionalization of production and resource planning (capacities, priorities, weekly/visible planning).
- Ensuring quality, adherence to deadlines, costs, and productivity.
- Establishing clear structures and standards across all process steps (preparation, planning, manufacturing, vulcanization, cleaning, quality control).
- Continuous improvement of processes (Lean, CIP, Kaizen, 5S, OEE).
- Participation in and management of projects in digitalization, process optimization, and organization.
- Close collaboration with internal interfaces such as QA, planning, engineering, and management.
Your profile
- Technical basic training (EFZ) with completed further education in production/process environment (e.g., Production Manager Industry FA, Industrial Specialist, Process Specialist, Technical HF).
- Several years of leadership experience – ideally across multiple teams or team leaders.
- Strong skills in production planning, capacity management, and organization of complex production processes.
- Solid experience in Lean Management, CIP, and continuous process optimization.
- Distinct analytical, structured, and solution-oriented working style.
- High communication skills, decisiveness, and confident appearance.
- Very good IT skills (MS Office/Excel, Dynamics 365, Power BI).
- Very good German and English skills, both spoken and written.
