Special features of the training center, e.g. center function, basic care, etc.: Tox Info Suisse is the only poison information center in Switzerland that advises professionals and laypeople on all toxicological questions, especially in cases of acute and chronic poisoning and suspected poisoning, by telephone. All consultations are electronically documented, medical reports are created, and medical follow-up feedback is evaluated. For quality assurance and scientific questions, toxicological specialist texts are created for medical personnel and laypeople, and case evaluations are carried out. Telephone emergency advice is offered around the clock 365 days a year and is organized in shifts. Other activities take place during office hours. 1.4. Knowledge of Italian is an advantage. Good knowledge of English is necessary for literature study.
