About the job
Heime Uster is a public-law institution for long-term care with a wide-ranging offer that is entirely oriented towards the needs of the residents. Around 300 employees work with great dedication and empathy for the 220 residents at the two locations Im Grund and Dietenrain.
We are very proud to offer around 60 apprentices and students in the fields of care and support, hospitality, and housekeeping a first-class education. Your main tasks
As a Facility Management Specialist, you will work in our technical service. You keep our buildings in good condition and ensure that our residents feel comfortable with us. You monitor and regulate building technology systems such as heating and fire alarm systems, intervene in case of malfunctions, and carry out minor repairs independently.
Garden, painting, and general cleaning work are also part of your duties, as well as waste management. In winter, you assist with snow clearance.
To complete your training, you will also undertake an external internship.

- Enjoyment of practical work both indoors and outdoors
- Manual dexterity and technical understanding

- German language skills at least level B2
