The IT Department is looking for a personality immediately or by arrangement as a IT Senior System Specialist 80 – 100%, with willingness to travel to Wabern near Bern.
Actively shape the digitalization of the Swiss Red Cross. You support our backend team in providing and further developing modern and stable IT services. Our focus is on our approximately 1,600 users worldwide.
What you can achieve
- Further development and operation of our modern platforms in the areas of VDI solutions, backup, and Exchange Online
- Co-designing the transformation towards modern cloud-based solutions
- You advise internal and external customers on questions regarding our IT infrastructure
- You participate in varied IT projects or take on partial responsibility
- You assist in operational operations: handling service requests, troubleshooting in incident management, and solving tricky challenges
- You participate in on-call duty and ensure that our systems run smoothly and reliably even outside regular office hours
What you bring with you
- Know-how: You have a training as an IT specialist EFZ, are interested in modern IT infrastructures, and are willing to develop further
- Solid knowledge in Microsoft environments, virtualization, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and VDI solutions.
- Knowledge: Entra ID, Exchange Online, network basics, printing services, and monitoring
- Several years of experience in comparable functions and/or further education at FH, HF level
- Team player mentality: solution-oriented, mediating attitude, and enjoyment of collaboration.
- Willingness to travel to other locations is required
- Language skills: Very good oral/written language skills in German (C1/C2) and English (B2) complete your profile
