The Barmelweid Clinic is the leading specialist and rehabilitation clinic in Northwestern Switzerland and the largest psychosomatic-psychotherapeutic clinic in Switzerland. The Department of Psychosomatic Medicine and Psychotherapy has 120 beds in the inpatient area. In addition, two day clinics and outpatient clinics in Frick and Aarau complement our offering. Close cooperation with somatic specialist disciplines of the Barmelweid Clinic is established and enables the treatment of people with multimorbid somatic diseases as well as psychopathological disorders.
Barmelweid employs over 750 staff members. It is located at about 800 meters altitude on a clearing in the Aargau Jura and is embedded in a unique environment with a nature park.
