Head of Logistics 100%

Your tasks

• You lead the entire logistics team through the three team leaders and actively support them as a mentor in their operational and personnel leadership roles.
• You plan, lead, and are responsible for forward-looking logistics projects, such as new warehouse setups, transport optimizations, or the strategic consolidation of locations.
• You analyze existing processes with a trained eye and consistently optimize them using lean methods to avoid waste and sustainably reduce costs.
• You continuously develop our logistics processes in SAP S/4HANA, especially in the EWM area, ensuring that workflows are technologically and operationally up to date.
• You create, maintain, and develop process documentation and SOPs that serve as the basis for our quality assurance and internal training.
• You define relevant KPIs, evaluate them, and continuously monitor them so that the success of your optimizations is always measurable and transparent.
• You act as a business partner for the site manager and proactively support him with budget issues, investments, account assignments, and strategic personnel planning.

Your profile

• You have a solid education or a completed degree in logistics, supply chain management, or a comparable field.
• You have several years of professional and leadership experience in a demanding, ideally international logistics environment.
• You bring in-depth experience in process optimization and apply lean management methods confidently and practically.
• You must have proven practical knowledge in SAP S/4HANA and are very confident, especially in the EWM module.
• You work analytically, structured, and solution-oriented and present yourself as a confident expert to stakeholders.
• You love to get things moving and bring solid experience in project management or a higher-level specialist responsibility.
• You communicate fluently in German and have good English skills for professional exchange.
• Ideally, you have experience in the fields of medical technology, consumer goods, or food.
