2-Shift Operation
The Zurich Brickworks offer ceramic solutions for the entire building envelope. For over 150 years, we have made living more natural and building easier with our clay building materials. From a simple raw material, we develop sophisticated systems for roofs, walls, and facades. Since 2020, we have been part of the swisspor Group.
To strengthen our brick factory at our location in Istighofen TG, we are looking for a motivated production employee.
Your Tasks
- Operating, setting, understanding, and monitoring the production processes at the press, loading station, drying side, and unloading station, including all process-relevant components
- Managing and performing maintenance and repair work as well as maintaining machine tools
- Setting and operating the Fanuc robots
- Monitoring quality according to specifications with the necessary measuring and testing equipment
- Monitoring, maintaining, checking, and servicing the tunnel kilns and tunnel kiln carts
- Performing administrative tasks such as documenting and completing tasks in ERP D365
- Ensuring safety, cleanliness, and order in your own work area
- Operating a forklift with a special fork for 3 pallets and stacking them.
You Bring
- Completed vocational training and pronounced technical or mechanical flair
- At least 3 years of professional experience, preferably in the construction industry or manufacturing industry, e.g., as a plant operator, machine operator, cement worker, production employee at a gravel plant, etc.
- Good technical understanding and willingness to learn new things
- Experience in operating PLC controls and robots is an advantage
- Forklift license is a great advantage
- Willingness to work 2 shifts and Saturdays (early shift every two weeks) is mandatory
- Very good German skills in spoken and written form, at least B2
- Responsible, team-capable, resilient, and reliable "doer personality"
- Good physical fitness
