The Hotel Bad Schauenburg is a renowned 4-star seminar & business hotel in the most beautiful rural surroundings.
In total, 38 stylish guest rooms are available to guests. Furthermore, attractive seminar rooms with the latest infrastructure as well as 2 beautiful banquet halls for special occasions. The gourmet restaurant "Bad Schauenburg" was recently awarded 15 points by Gault Millau. Another gem is the Lindenbeizli "Zum Schauenegg" in the former barn. The new baroque garden was redesigned according to historical models and provides the kitchen with fresh herbs and vegetables.

We are looking for a:
Banquet Manager 80-100% (m/f) starting in spring
Area of responsibility:
Main tasks:
· General guest care
· Contact person for the fields of seminar/banquet
· Ensuring high quality and guest satisfaction
· Acquisition of new customers with appropriate strategy
· Co-organization of in-house events such as Wine & Dines, experiential gastronomy, etc.
· Increase in sales and co-responsibility for achieving budget targets
· Reception and administrative tasks
· Sales, preparation, and support of seminars and banquets
· Staff management in the seminar, banquet area, and housekeeping
· Deputy management
Detailed tasks:
· Seminar/banquet department
· Sales/consulting and offers
· Taking menu and banquet orders
· Preparatory work (MEP) and control
· Support and execution of the banquet event
· Organization & coordination of the banquet team
· Creation & control of invoices
Support administration/reception:
· General work and correspondence at the reception
· Check-IN/OUT, daily and monthly closings
· Sales & acquisition of hotel guests (private/business)
· Various personnel administration tasks
· Cross-departmental and special tasks
· Care of individual guests
· Information exchange between the various departments
· Personnel planning
· Recording knowledge about new product developments
· Monitoring of goods usage and its costs
· Budget planning and measures to comply with the current budget
· Co-care of wine inventory and its list
Requirements profile:
· Professional experience in upscale gastronomy and banquet/seminar hotel industry
· Host personality
· Diploma as hotelier/restaurateur HF or business diploma HF
· Strong organizational skills and sense of responsibility
· Precise and forward-looking work
· High degree of flexibility, loyalty, and resilience
· Initiative and willingness to go the extra mile
· Entrepreneurial thinking
· Foreign language skills (English, French, Italian, etc.)
· Teamwork and leadership skills
· Quick comprehension
· Mastery of modern work processes as well as good user knowledge of common PC applications (Protel, Mirus, MS Office, etc.)
· Well-groomed appearance and good manners
· Driver's license B/mobility (no public transport available)
