The Personnel Office of the Canton of Zurich is the competence center for all personnel, labor, and social insurance law questions of the over 30,000 employees of the Canton of Zurich as well as many public-law institutions and municipalities. The Personnel Law Department of the Personnel Office is primarily responsible for the interpretation and further development of cantonal personnel law.

Your tasks:
- Your legal knowledge will not only be used on paper. You actively and practically provide legal advice on personnel law issues.
- Work hand in hand with experienced lawyers and contribute your knowledge to in-depth clarifications of special issues.
- Take responsibility for maintaining our internal knowledge database, which is used daily by a large number of HR specialists in the canton.
- Be an important part in handling appeal cases and actively support the implementation of training in personnel law.
What you bring:
- You have a keen interest in administrative law and hold a completed degree in law (MLaw).
- While initial practical work experience and knowledge in labor and personnel law are advantageous, we are also open to motivated graduates who want to put their theoretical knowledge into practice.
- A quick grasp, independent and careful work are as important to us as enjoyment in contact with numerous contacts.
- With us, you can not only develop your legal skills but also continue to cultivate your good writing style. The ability to communicate appropriately and understandably to the target audience rounds off your profile.
