The Sozialwerk Pfarrer Sieber Foundation (SWS) is committed to helping those in need based on the Gospel. With over 190 employees and 350 volunteers, it operates several facilities in the health and social sectors in Zurich and the surrounding area, offering assistance especially with homelessness, substance addiction, and other related health and social problems.

Our specialized hospital for social medicine and addiction diseases, Sune-Egge, offers inpatient and outpatient treatment for patients with combined somatic and psychiatric illnesses. We have 22 acute and 20 long-term care beds available for them and work closely with public hospitals, doctors, local specialist agencies, and addiction support institutions.

To strengthen and complement our team, we are looking immediately or by arrangement for professionally and personally competent individuals who want to work with us on an hourly basis:

Nursing Pool Staff/Dipl. Nursing Specialist HF

For our staff pool, we are looking for interested persons who, alongside studies/family or work, are willing to step in at the Sune-Egge specialized hospital. Staff are asked about work assignments and are free to accept or decline them.

• Care and support of our acute and long-term addicted patients
• Providing care quality adapted to the disease profile of our patients
• Managing the patient process based on our primary nursing model
• Active contribution to positive teamwork
• Willingness for close interdisciplinary collaboration
• Participation in the quality and effectiveness of care
• High situational presence in everyday nursing
• Confident yet empathetic handling of our substance-using patients with dual diagnoses

• Desire for a task in a very low-threshold area – without fear of contact
• Completed vocational training HF, DN II or AKP/PSYKP
• Professional experience in acute, psychiatric, or addiction care
• Minimum age 20 years
• Flexible, spontaneous, and committed to caring for patients from the addiction and homeless milieu
• Enjoyment in taking responsibility

• A diverse, varied, and interesting task with a social mission
• Good compatibility with main job/studies or family through flexible assignments
