Your tasks
Orthoptics offers a versatile, exciting, and demanding field of work. In collaboration with ophthalmologists, eye function disorders, strabismus, and amblyopia are diagnosed and treated.
- Apply theoretical knowledge from studies into practice
- Orthoptic assessment in disorders of binocular vision such as strabismus, amblyopia, or functional disorders of the eye muscles.
- Make diagnoses and initiate and carry out professional and patient-oriented therapies with support.
- Administrative tasks such as correspondence or maintaining digital patient records
