Your tasks
- You bear overall responsibility for the personnel, professional, and financial management of the Tax Office of the city of Lucerne.
- Together with your team of around 60 employees, you ensure efficient, accurate, and service-oriented tax processes.
- You are responsible for the further development of the organization and processes of the Tax Office and thus contribute to the operational implementation of the digital transformation of the city of Lucerne.
- Through analyses, expert contributions, and participation in projects, you contribute to professional development and the safeguarding of the city's interests.
- You actively maintain contacts with the stakeholders of the Tax Office (customers, canton, other tax offices, etc.) and represent the department internally and externally.
- In addition, you are a member of the extended management of the Finance Directorate and contribute to overarching topics.
Your profile
- We are looking for a convincing leader with a completed degree and/or a solid higher education in finance/taxation, preferably as a tax expert.
- You can demonstrate several years of leadership and management experience in comparable organizations.
- Ideally, you have already gained experience in managing change processes and successfully implementing digitization projects.
- You bring a high level of reflective leadership and social skills, commitment, and openness to new things.
- You are characterized by strong assertiveness combined with the ability to balance interests and find consensus.
- In addition to strategic, conceptual, and business management thinking, you have strong implementation and communication skills.
- Furthermore, you are confident in negotiations and find innovative ideas for pragmatic solutions.
