The Spa Manager is responsible for the daily management of the spa, supervising teams, ensuring excellence in the customer experience, and achieving financial objectives. He/She embodies Fairmont service standards and ensures the creation of a serene, luxurious, and wellness-focused environment for guests.
Main Responsibilities
1. Operations Management
Oversee all Spa operations (treatments, reception, changing rooms, wellness areas).
Ensure proper functioning of facilities and guarantee a clean, safe, and harmonious environment.
Ensure compliance with protocols, quality standards, and hygiene norms.
2. Leadership & Management
Recruit, supervise, motivate, and train teams (therapists, spa receptionists, scrubbers, coaches, etc.).
Define schedules, performance objectives, and evaluate skills.
Foster a positive, collaborative, and respectful work climate.
3. Customer Experience
Guarantee impeccable, personalized service quality in line with Fairmont standards.
Handle complaints diplomatically and propose customer satisfaction-oriented solutions.
Implement exceptional customer journeys in synergy with other departments (Accommodation, Food & Beverage, etc.).
4. Strategy & Performance
Define and monitor profitability, revenue, and Spa cost objectives.
Analyze key indicators (cabin occupancy rate, revenue per treatment, customer satisfaction).
Develop attractive commercial offers and strategic partnerships.
5. Offer Development
Ensure the Spa menu is updated in line with wellness trends.
Launch new treatments, products, or rituals in collaboration with partner brands.
Work with marketing to promote the Spa to internal and external clientele.
Education & Experience
Degree in hotel management, aesthetics, wellness, or similar fields.
Significant experience (minimum 5 years) in managing a luxury spa.
Experience in a high-end hotel environment highly appreciated.
Technical Skills
Mastery of high-end service standards (Forbes, LQA, etc.).
Good skills in financial management, KPI analysis, and sales.
Good knowledge of Spa reservation software (SpaSoft, Book4Time, etc.).

Strong customer orientation and attention to detail.
Creativity, innovation, and passion for wellness.
Excellent presentation, interpersonal ease, and diplomacy.
