Your Tasks
- Responsibility for leading the IKM department with operational and personnel management of the IKM team (including the perioperative consultation as well as patient and OR scheduling)
- Responsibility for the holistic allocation and central control of all hospital capacities (OR slots, beds, consultations) to optimally coordinate all resources along the entire patient pathway
- Initiation of proactive and solution-oriented measures in case of capacity bottlenecks and close exchange with the affected disciplines
- Making operational and strategic decisions in consultation with the Head of Clinical Operations
- Supporting hospital management in strategic orientation with calculations, analyses, and statistics
- Controlling operational key figures including regular reporting to the Head of Clinical Operations
- Continuous development of the department and optimization of the data basis
- Close coordination and communication with all internal and external stakeholders
- Close cooperation with the OR Operations department management for calculating OR tickets and creating the annual OR plan
- Representation of occupancy figures in area management and hospital management meetings
Your Profile
- Higher medical education at (specialist) university level or certified nursing professional
- Business management understanding, ideally with training/continuing education in business management/controlling or further education in process/project management, IT/digitalization, leadership, change management
- Many years of leadership experience in the perioperative area
- Very good analytical skills and affinity for process design
- Very good knowledge of the processes of an acute care hospital
- Flexible, communicative, discreet, loyal personality with a high degree of independence, assertiveness, and perseverance
