Your main area of responsibility includes

Strategic Responsibility

Development and implementation of the product group strategy including market, competition, and trend analyses
Management of assortment policy and clear product positioning (price, quality, differentiation)
Responsibility for sales development and margin
Co-design of supplier and procurement strategy

Operational Management

Overall responsibility for the product life cycle and further development of the product groups
Price and margin calculation as well as preparation of business cases
Management of services, inventories, and availability in cooperation with purchasing
Creation and maintenance of product and sales documents
Training of sales as well as leadership of the assigned market teams
Interface and complaint management with internal partners

Your Profile

Training as a carpenter or solid expertise in the field of fittings (doors, windows, furniture, kitchen)
Further training in sales or product management is an advantage
Experience in product management, category management, or purchasing with sales and margin responsibility
Very good business understanding (contribution margin, margin control, business cases, product evaluations)
Analytical strength in market, competition, and portfolio analyses
Confident and convincing appearance in presentations and negotiations
Assertive, team-oriented, and interface competent
Technically skilled with holistic product understanding
Innovative, resilient, and strong in prioritization
Very good German skills; English and French are an advantage
