Public Security Assistant

« Police Région Morges » carries out general police duties in the territories of Morges, Saint-Prex, Préverenges, Tolochenaz, Buchillon, and Lussy-sur-Morges.

Tasks:

• Monitor and control parking areas as well as parks and promenades, according to municipal delegation, and report violations.
• Ensure basic maintenance of parking meters.
• Issue payment orders.
• Conduct hearings and naturalization reports.
• Within the scope of their prerogatives, ensure the application of the Police Regulations.
• Provide support to various operational units.
• Work hours scheduled between 6 a.m. and 8 p.m., including Saturdays and Sundays.

We expect:

• Federal VET Diploma or equivalent training and at least 3 years of professional experience (experience in security is an asset).
• Certificate as a public security assistant or willingness to attend training in Savatan.
• Comfortable with writing, administrative tasks, and computer work.
• Ability to work alone or in a team.
• High autonomy and good interpersonal skills.
• Precision, flexibility, and rigor.
• Dynamic and good stress resistance.
• Good physical condition and interest in working outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Swiss nationality or C permit.
• Resident in Switzerland.
