Job Description
Your tasks include manufacturing from metals such as steel, stainless steel, or aluminum as well as from plastics or composite materials. You produce tools, components, or production equipment. In single-part manufacturing or prototype construction, you work manually on turning, milling, drilling, and grinding machines. Usually, you also use computer-controlled machines. You program these according to the construction drawings, determining the processing steps. You select the necessary tools, equip the machines with them, and perform test runs. Once everything is perfectly set, you start the production, which you monitor closely. If you notice deviations, you stop the machines and correct the settings. Finally, you check the quality of the workpieces with highly precise measuring and testing instruments.
Requirements
- You have completed an apprenticeship EFZ as a polymechanic or machine mechanic and are the "production expert" in CNC turning
- You have many years of experience on multi-axis machines (multi-channel programming) with Fanuc controls as well as programming on a CAM system
- You have programming experience on TopSolid 7 or the willingness to learn it
- As a troubleshooter, you analyze and resolve manufacturing problems and malfunctions on the equipment
- You are a resilient personality with logical thinking skills and are characterized by your independent and solution-oriented way of working
- You are a committed team player and enjoy turning work as well as mechanics
