The Institute for Complementary and Integrative Medicine IKIM belongs to the Medical Faculty of the University of Bern.
Integrative medicine sensibly combines conventional and complementary medicine. Complementary and Integrative Medicine (CIM) offers a variety of therapeutic options from which many patients can benefit. We work to better exploit the great potential of CIM through research and investigate the effectiveness, safety, and mechanisms of action of medicinal and non-medicinal therapies.
We are looking for an initiative person to start immediately or by arrangement who wants to advance this emerging and interesting research field with us.
Your tasks and competencies
- Coordination and support of clinical studies
- Organization and submission of BASEC documents to the ethics committee
- Care of study patients, organization of follow-up examinations as well as execution of study visits
- Collection and documentation of study data, data entry as well as maintenance and archiving of study documentation
You bring with you
- Completed training in the field of healthcare or natural sciences
- Experience in clinical research (including Good Clinical Practice certificate)
- Interest in the topic
- Initiative, reliability, and organizational skills
- High quality awareness
- Very good German and English skills, spoken and written
- Confident handling of MS Office and databases (e.g. REDCap)
- Good teamwork and communication skills
