For the leading daily newspaper of the region, the Bieler Tagblatt, as well as the online platform ajour, we are looking for a person for an internship (100%) for the two-year diploma training at the Media Training Center (MAZ) Lucerne from March 1, 2026 to February 29, 2028.
Your area of activity
- You will spend part of the training in the regional department of the Bieler Tagblatt. Here you will immerse yourself deeply in the Biel-Seeland region and write reports independently
- You will also spend part of the time in our online editorial team of ajour. Here you will manage our news app, design and write online articles as well as social media posts. You will independently take on online shifts (in a three-shift operation)
- At the same time, you will complete the diploma training at MAZ Lucerne
Your ideal profile
- Ideally, you have already gained some experience in journalism through an internship
- You are at least 20 years old, have completed a vocational apprenticeship or the Matura
- You write confidently in German
- You are enthusiastic about both the digital world and print journalism
- Plus points if you are familiar with the Biel/Seeland region and have a driver’s license
- You are independent, take responsibility, show
- With us, you will dive deep into daily journalism and get to know all facets of print and online journalism
- You will have the chance to work in our convergent and bilingual editorial team and gain insight into all media (print, online, radio, TV)
