Your area of responsibility:
• Representation and management of kitchen operations in the absence of the head chef
• Mise-en-place as well as professional preparation of the daily fresh
made dishes in cooperation with the team
• Implementation of your passion for cooking, visible on every plate
• Ordering of food/non-food as well as goods receipt control in the absence of the head chef
• Co-responsible for the training of our apprentices
• Ensuring efficient, flawless processes
• Responsibility for the implementation and compliance with HACCP guidelines in the department
You bring with you:
• You have completed vocational training as a cook EFZ and have several years of professional experience in a similar role
• Solid professional and product knowledge
• Knowledge of inventory management systems
• Creativity and passion in handling ingredients and developing new recipe proposals
• Flexibility to work at all stations as required
• Leadership and decision-making ability
• High social awareness and organizational skills
• Good German skills facilitate communication within the team
