For our heart-lung practice with around 25 employees in Basel, we are looking for a customer-oriented, committed, and reliable person as a Medical Practice Assistant or Nursing Specialist (60%).

• You perform lung function tests including bronchospasmolysis and methacholine provocation test, CO and NO measurements in exhaled air.
• You assist with cardiological examinations such as transthoracic echocardiography, ergometry, dynamic stress echocardiography.
• You carry out general laboratory tasks including blood sampling, breath tests, and placing an intravenous access.
• You are responsible (after thorough training) for the preliminary evaluation of 24h ECG, 7-day ECG, 24h blood pressure measurements, nocturnal pulse oximetry, and polygraphy.
• Your versatile range of tasks also includes administrative duties such as general practice organization and writing medical reports.
• Completed vocational training as MPA or nursing specialist
• Experience in pneumology/internal medicine as well as basic ECG knowledge is useful
• Very good German skills, additional knowledge of French or Italian is an advantage
• Proficient use of MS Office and other practice software
• Enjoy working with patients and working independently and flexibly
