Civil Engineer Product Management 80% - 100% (m/f/d)
The Zurich Brickworks offer ceramic solutions for the entire building envelope. For over 150 years, we have made living more natural and building easier with our clay building materials. From a simple raw material, we develop sophisticated systems for roofs, walls, and facades. Since 2020, we have been part of the swisspor Group.
To strengthen our team in Regensdorf ZH, we are looking for a Civil Engineer Product Management.
Your Tasks
- Strategic Product Development: Development and implementation of a future-oriented product strategy as well as planning and realization of corresponding measures to strengthen the market position.
- Project Management: Responsibility for the development of proprietary products as well as the evaluation and selection of commercial goods, including management of all project phases from conception to market launch.
- Market and Competitor Analysis: Conducting thorough analyses to identify trends, opportunities, and risks in the market as well as monitoring the competitive environment.
- Technical Expertise: Answering complex technical questions in the field of wall and insulation technology with a focus on building physics (statics, sound, energy efficiency, fire protection) and application technology.
- Sales Support: Active support and advice to the sales team in object consulting to develop customized solutions for customers.
- Data Management and Pricing: Taking responsibility for the department's data management, including data maintenance and strategic pricing.
- Creation of Sales Documents: Designing and creating sales-promoting materials such as price lists, catalogs, and flyers.
- Standards and Quality Management: Continuous monitoring of relevant standards and regulations as well as organizing and conducting product inspections and tests to ensure quality standards.
You Bring
- Degree in civil engineering with outstanding knowledge in building physics.
- A business management qualification (e.g., MBA or MSc) is a great advantage.
- At least 5 years of professional experience in a technical company, ideally in a planning office in the construction industry.
- Very good IT skills, especially in MS Office, Thermo, and similar programs.
- Very good German skills in spoken and written form; additional foreign languages such as French or English are a plus.
- You work customer-oriented, structured, precisely, and independently.
- As a motivated and communicative doer personality, you bring a pronounced sales affinity and convince with your confident appearance.
