Head Pastry Chef (m/f/d)

In the versatile and responsible role as Head Pastry Chef, the following tasks are part of your responsibilities:

• Preparation of a variety of desserts, pastries, and other sweet specialties according to the recipes and standards of the entire establishment
• Ensuring the quality and quantity of all produced products
• Active participation in menu development and creation of new dessert offerings
• Efficient collaboration with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations in the kitchen
• Training and guidance of new employees in the pastry department
• Compliance with all guidelines as well as proper storage of all food items
• Adherence to hygiene regulations and cleanliness within the framework of HACCP guidelines

• Completed training as a confectioner or a comparable qualification
• Proven several years of experience in pastry and understanding of upscale luxury hospitality
• Creativity and passion for producing desserts and sweets for all F&B outlets
• Strong quality awareness and attention to detail
• Ability to work under pressure and thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Team spirit and good communication skills
• Flexibility regarding working hours, including weekends and holidays
• Very good German and English skills, both spoken and written; French is an advantage
