Context
The Department of Internal Medicine (SMI) is responsible for the diagnosis and care of complex polymorbid patients with 182 hospital beds, including 16 certified intermediate care beds. The department is distinguished by its commitment to clinical research, particularly in the field of population cohorts and quality of care. It offers a dynamic interprofessional and multidisciplinary environment of a university Internal Medicine Department.
Mission
Main missions:
- Ensure clinical excellence and fulfill care missions
- Provide undergraduate, postgraduate, and continuing education in internal medicine
- Initiate, lead, and supervise research projects supported by competitive funding in the field of hospital internal medicine
- Actively participate in the management of the Department of Internal Medicine.
Profile
Desired profile:
- Federal medical diploma (or recognized MEBEKO title mandatory) and MD or MD-PhD
- Specialist title in internal/general medicine (ISFM or equivalent recognized MEBEKO title mandatory)
- Extensive clinical experience in hospital internal medicine
- Broad management skills in team leadership and project management acquired in university and non-university hospitals
- Academic knowledge at professorial level with proven practice in university teaching
- Ability to develop clinical research programs funded by expert funds
- Good knowledge of French (native speaker or ideally C1) or ability to acquire it quickly.
