About the job
The Competence Center for Auditing led by Prof. Florian Eugster at the University of St.Gallen conducts research in the areas of Internal Auditing, Auditing & Finance. Our core competencies lie in teaching, research, and continuing education for executives. Student assistants are fully integrated into the team and gain close insight into the activities of the competence center.
Your tasks
- Advance your research interests in the fields of Accounting, Auditing, and Business Valuation
- Contribute to teaching at the Bachelor and Master levels (e.g., Financial Accounting, Auditing, Financial Statement Analysis, Valuation)
- Actively support ongoing research projects, including data collection, empirical analyses, and publication activities
Your profile
- Strong interest in academic work and enjoyment of structured, independent work in research, teaching, and organization
- Excellent academic performance with a Master’s degree in Accounting/Finance
- Very good written and spoken English and German skills
- Confident use of MS Office; experience with statistical programming languages (e.g., R, Stata, Python) is an advantage
